ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Our client was established in 1977 to assist employers with the implementation and operation of Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit and other employee benefit plans. They have evolved into one of the largest employee benefit firms in Southwestern Ohio.

Their staff of more than 50 professionals support a client base of over 475 companies. Our client serves clients nationally, as well as regionally in our primary market of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana from our administration center and headquarters located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Office Support role provides various clerical and administrative assistance. The position ensures coverage is in place for daily transactional work, communications, and general front desk coverage. This position will report directly to the Controller.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct appropriately
• Coverage for front desk/reception as needed
• Greet any arriving guests and ensure conference room setup, if needed
• Monitor and maintain stock of office supplies (Amazon, Walmart, Target etc.)
• Monitor scheduled conference room meetings
• Room approval through Outlook
• Number of guest parking needed, if applicable
• Schedule FedEx pickups; receiving packages from FedEx/UPS
• Sort/disperse the daily mail from USPS
• Other general administrative tasks as assigned
• Enter customer checks received and scan deposit batches into the bank
• Check bank payment portal system to ensure client ACH payments match the bank
• Apply customer payments to open receivables in accounting system
• Print and mail out client billing invoices
• Input vendor payables into accounting system
• Enter/reconcile company credit card activity

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and with clerical and administrative experience a plus.
• Good communication skills. Able to interact well with internal associates, clients, and outside vendors.
• Ability to multi-task and handle front desk distractions while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook.
• Must be able to work onsite Monday-Friday

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Location: Cincinnati, OH (onsite preferred, will consider hybrid)
• Compensation: $18.00-$20.00/hour
• Non-exempt
• Part-time, 20 hours/week for 8-12 weeks depending on start date. Potential to extend temporary assignment longer.
