The Production Technician is a highly hands-on role responsible for the deflashing, inspection, cleaning, and packaging of precision molded rubber and rubber-to-metal bonded components, requiring exceptional attention to detail, manual dexterity, and craftsmanship to ensure every component is clean, undamaged, dimensionally accurate, and fully compliant with customer specifications.

This isn't assembly-line work.

What You'll Do

• Carefully deflash molded rubber and rubber-to-metal components using specialized hand tools and equipment, removing excess material while preserving critical dimensions, sealing surfaces, and product integrity.

• Work around intricate edges, grooves, and precision features to ensure every component meets exact specifications and customer requirements.

• Inspect finished components for cosmetic defects, flash, dimensional accuracy, and overall quality before they move to the next stage of production.

• Use precision hand tools, Dremel equipment, scrapers, and other approved finishing tools to perform detailed deflashing and finishing operations.

• Monitor tooling condition, identify wear or performance issues, and help maintain equipment to support safe and efficient production.

• Clean, package, label, and organize finished products according to established procedures to prevent damage, contamination, or product mix-ups.

• Ensure finished goods are customer-ready, properly identified, traceable, and packaged to the highest quality standards.

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations teams to solve problem
