Senior Accountant

About This Role


RGP is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to provide maternity leave coverage for a large, multi-entity organization. This role requires a hands-on accounting professional who can quickly integrate into the team and support critical accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, and general ledger activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating within a large enterprise environment and be comfortable working through an ERP transition, as the organization is currently moving from Oracle to Oracle Cloud.

Pay Range: $55-$65/hr. W2


Duration: 4-5 months


Work Location: 3 days on-site in Miami, FL


What You Will Work On

• Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, account analysis, and financial reporting support
• Perform complex bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support operational accounting activities across multiple legal entities
• Manage accounting for fixed assets and prepaid expenses
• Prepare and review accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions in accordance with accounting policies and procedures
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and accounting variances
• Assist with ERP-related activities as the organization transitions from Oracle to Oracle Cloud
• Partner with accounting leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain smooth financial operations during the leave period

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a large enterprise organization
• Strong hands-on experience with month-end close processes
• Extensive experience with bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience supporting accounting operations across multiple entities
• Strong understanding of:
• Fixed Assets
• Prepaids
• Accruals
• General Ledger Accounting
• Debits & Credits
• Experience working within Oracle ERP environments
• Exposure to or experience with Oracle Cloud strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
