• Shift: Combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule
• Hours/Week: Approx. 170 hours/month (full-time)
• Employment Type: Permanent
• Licenses/Certifications: BC/BE in Neonatology or Pediatrics (eligible fellows welcome)
• Experience: Prior Neonatology experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide expert clinical neonatology care in a Level-III NICU with approximately 1,000 annual admissions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including residents and nurse practitioners.
• Manage complex neonatal cases and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in a flexible on-call schedule, providing in-house coverage and backup from home.
• Support hospital delivery services, with a focus on newborn stabilization and transitional care.
• Engage in research and educational opportunities affiliated with KU School of Medicine - Wichita.

What You Need

• Valid license and certification in Neonatology or Pediatrics (BC/BE).
• Ability to work in a team environment in a high-acuity NICU setting.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred

• Experience in a Level-III NICU
• Previous fellowship training in Neonatology
