Ebenezer is hiring a registered nurse (RN) role who would be responsible for ensuring that the safety and health needs of the adult long-term care center and transitional care unit patients are met. Supported by a team of nursing assistants, housekeeping, activities, culinary, social work, and more. Come join the Jones-Harrison skilled nursing community in Minneapolis, MN, near beautiful Cedar Lake. Supported by nurse leader DON and CNAs and multidisciplinary departments.

Nursing schedule includes:

• 40 hours every two weeks
• Part time; evening shift
• Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities:

• Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual care plan
• Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
• RN – assesses care plans, resident goals, and revises, modifies as needed
• Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status, and cares provided

Required:

• Current MN RN license or by start date
• BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice

Preferred:

• Comfortable using Microsoft Windows and electronic charting systems
• Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
• Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families, and physicians or providers
