Work Environment\n

This role is performed in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while supporting the mental health needs of our young patients. You will work standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate the needs of patients and their families. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the unique needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and the developmental stage of each patient.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, applying effective therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to nurture a supportive home environment.

• Act as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care efforts.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and families about mental health challenges, treatment pathways, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to legal guidelines to ensure client confidentiality and compliance.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops to stay at the forefront of new research and methodologies in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position centers on supporting a diverse range of children and adolescents grappling with various mental health challenges. The ideal candidate is adept at building rapport with young clients, fostering a safe and engaging environment conducive to therapy. Our practice focuses on treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD, as well as addressing behavioral issues frequently encountered in this age group.

Qualifications\n

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) , Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , or licensed psychologist in California.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with best practices and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Experience providing both individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and commitment to maintaining documentation integrity.

• Ability towork effectively within a multidisciplinary team atmosphere, promoting collaboration and mutual support.
