Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and screenings for patients through telehealth consultations, meticulously evaluating their needs and tailoring treatment proposals accordingly.

• Deliver individualized short-term counseling sessions via secure video conferencing, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and crisis intervention.

• Lead and facilitate virtual therapy groups and online workshops that cover pivotal topics like coping strategies, stress management, and personal development, engaging participants with interactive methods to foster community support.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams, including psychiatrists, primary care providers, and community organizations to create cohesive treatment plans and ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Implement outreach and preventive care initiatives, participating in mental health awareness campaigns and wellness seminars that educate patients and the broader community about mental well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our Mental Health Counselors serve a wide range of patient demographics, including adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals experiencing diverse mental health challenges. We emphasize cultural competency and sensitivity, recognizing varied backgrounds and experiences that affect mental health, making every interaction meaningful.

Qualifications\n

• Active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of the prevalent mental health challenges faced by patients within the telehealth and hospital setting, along with the ability to develop tailored interventions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with patients and collaborate within a diverse healthcare community.
