Business Development Executive

Business Development Executive Team Jones is hiring a Business Development Executive (BDE) in the property restoration and disaster recovery industry. The BDE will serve as the primary liaison between the restoration company and key stakeholders, including insurance carriers, property managers, adjusters, and commercial facility owners, to secure a steady stream of referral business and formal service agreements. Key Responsibilities Negotiate and execute formal service agreements such as Emergency Response Agreements (ERAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Contingency Plans to ensure priority response for commercial properties. Educate property owners and facility managers on proactive disaster planning and the benefits of signed agreements. Manage the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting to contract execution and ongoing account management. Maintain and update CRM systems (Dash, Salesforce, or specialized restoration CRMs) with accurate notes and activity logs. Prepare detailed weekly activity reports outlining visits, meetings, and progress toward revenue goals. Serve as the primary account manager, bridging clients with internal operations and estimating teams to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Summary of Core Competencies B2B Sales Expertise: Proven ability to navigate long sales cycles, negotiate contracts, and close deals with commercial entities and insurance carriers. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of property damage restoration processes, construction terminology, and estimating software such as Xactimate. Strategic Planning: Ability to develop geographic routing plans, target high-value verticals, and create actionable business development strategies. Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills to inspire loyalty and trust among referral partners. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or equivalent experience (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience. Strong, process- and results-driven attitude.
