The Life Essence Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic School Mental Health Team. In this full-time role, you will work remotely while providing essential mental health services to students in our progressive educational environment. Work Environment\n

This is a remote position that allows for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with the school as you engage with students, families, and fellow staff members. Our full-time schedule runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekend coverage to ensure comprehensive mental health support. Periodic on-call availability may also be required to address urgent mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments for students, capturing personal histories, presenting challenges, and individualized risk factors to formulate tailored intervention strategies.

• Collaborate with students to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address their unique mental health concerns while promoting their integration into the school community.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care techniques to effectively treat a variety of mental health issues.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to foster personal growth, emotional regulation, and development of effective coping strategies among students.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurses to provide a comprehensive approach to mental health treatment.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support during emergencies, applying de-escalation techniques and ensuring students receive appropriate referrals when higher levels of care are necessary.

• Empower students and their families through psychoeducation, ensuring they understand mental health conditions and available resources in the community.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in adherence with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to foster collaboration and enhance treatment outcomes.

• Stay informed on relevant changes in mental health laws, regulations, and ethical standards applicable to school settings.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health or educational setting, demonstrating your capacity to effectively engage with students.

• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Strong skills in conducting mental health assessments and formulating appropriate treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
