Work Environment\n

This is a full-time remote position based at our detox center in El Paso, Texas. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, although flexibility may be required for occasional evening or weekend hours based on client needs. Your ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team—including medical professionals, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists—will be critical to ensuring continuous, quality care for clients. On-call availability may also be necessary to respond to urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' psychosocial needs, evaluating their emotional, social, and mental health status.

• Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, aligning with their recovery goals and preferences.

• Provide counseling and emotional support to help clients navigate life transitions and their recovery process.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and access to necessary community resources, ensuring comprehensive support for their recovery.

• Work closely with healthcare providers, such as nurses and therapists, to coordinate care and enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Regularly monitor clients’ well-being through visits, assessing their living conditions and addressing safety concerns.

• Facilitate communication and conflict resolution among family members of clients, ensuring a supportive environment.
\n
• Perform client education about available resources and programs to promote social engagement and improve quality of life.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, assessments, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Stay informed about current social work practices, policies, and laws, applying this knowledge in day-to-day interactions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• At least 2 years of experience in social work, preferably within community health or addiction treatment settings.

• Strong understanding of social work principles, issues related to aging and addiction, and available community resources.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients and their families effectively.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
