Responsibilities Include:

• Operate MRI scanner to produce several cross-sectional scans and combine them into a 3-dimensional image for radiologist viewing.
• Consistently obtain high-quality imaging for radiologist interpretation.
• Have a general understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and its function.
• Maintain safety for anyone within the MRI zones.
• Interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured.
• Support and promote the values and mission of the organization.
• Engage in courteous interaction with co-workers and peers.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate’s Degree required
• Licensure(s): ARRT certified Radiography & State of Maine Radiography
• Certification(s): ARRT MRI certified preferred
• Registration(s): ARRT Radiography

Additional Information:

• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
• The facility can cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
