Helper Rate: $$16.66 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and patient helper to support a female client in her 70s in the early stages of dementia . She can be resistant at times , so the ideal caregiver will be skilled in gentle encouragement and motivation while maintaining a calm, supportive approach.

Care Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Provide routine structure and daily guidance
• Offer motivation and redirection when needed
• Ensure safety and supervision throughout the day
• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Monday – Friday
• 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Full-day shifts)

Ideal Candidate

• Experience with early-stage dementia care
• Patient, calm, and skilled in redirection techniques
• Reliable and able to commit to full-day weekday shifts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to encourage independence while ensuring safety

This role is ideal for a helper who understands how to balance independence with support , using positive reinforcement and patience to help the client stay engaged and on routine.
