Work Environment

Located in the heart of Essex, Maryland, our outpatient office provides a welcoming atmosphere where healthcare professionals collaborate to deliver optimal patient care. The facility is designed for efficiency and comfort, equipped with state-of-the-art medical technologies and resources to facilitate effective diagnosis and treatment. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule while maintaining patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations through detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and appropriate diagnostic tests to formulate precise diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of medical conditions, encompassing acute and chronic illnesses as well as mental health issues, while developing personalized treatment strategies grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and additional treatments as needed, providing patients with clear explanations of their treatment options, potential side effects, and expected results to enhance understanding and compliance.
• Educate and counsel patients about their health conditions and preventive care measures, empowering them to adopt and maintain healthier lifestyles.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, specialists, and nurses, to offer coordinated and integrated patient care, serving as a key communication bridge to ensure effective follow-up and care transitions.
• Champion preventive health initiatives through routine screenings, immunizations, and health education programs to lessen the incidence of preventable diseases.
• Maintain meticulous patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, following privacy regulations (HIPAA) and clinic protocols to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at Metro Solutions Medical Center, you will engage with a diverse patient population, ranging from infants to geriatrics. Your role will involve addressing the varied healthcare needs of individuals from different backgrounds, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and culturally competent care. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• A current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland.
• Certification in a relevant Nurse Practitioner specialty, such as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP).
• Demonstrated clinical judgment with the capability to assess, diagnose, and manage an array of patient conditions.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems; experience with Epic or Cerner is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred. However, new graduates with robust clinical training and a strong commitment to patient-centric care are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
