Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Patient Assessment: Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients suffering from chronic pain, reviewing medical histories, conducting thorough physical examinations, and assessing pain levels to create accurate diagnostic profiles.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with physicians and other specialists to develop personalized pain management plans, integrating a variety of treatment options such as medication management, physical therapy, and interventional procedures tailored to each patient's unique situation.
• Patient Education: Provide clear and informative education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options, empowering them to take active roles in their pain management journey.
• Procedural Assistance: Assist in various minimally invasive pain management procedures, including epidural injections, nerve blocks, and joint injections, ensuring that patient comfort and safety are prioritized throughout each process.
• Follow-Up Care: Regularly monitor patient progress, re-evaluate treatment efficacy, make necessary adjustments to care plans, and provide ongoing support to foster long-term pain relief and improved quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients with chronic pain conditions which may include fibromyalgia, arthritis, lower back pain, neuropathy, and post-surgical pain. Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant in Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits
