Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with chronic pain conditions, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that effectively address individual patient needs, incorporating non-operative spine, orthopedic treatments, and innovative pain management therapies.
• Provide specialized healthcare to underserved rural populations, emphasizing accessible and effective treatments.
• Lead the implementation of opioid alternatives, keeping abreast of the latest advancements in pain management.
• Engage in regular follow-ups and adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate actively in fellowship training programs, honing your skills in all facets of pain management.
• Document patient interactions and treatment progress accurately in electronic health records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals in rural communities within a two-hour radius of Baltimore, Maryland. Many of our patients are part of underserved populations who face significant barriers to accessing high-quality healthcare. As a Nurse Practitioner in our center, you will play a vital role in bridging these gaps, offering compassionate and effective care that can greatly enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Possess a Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner Studies or equivalent advanced clinical training.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, functional medicine, spine surgery, or family medicine is highly preferred.
• A genuine passion for serving rural populations and enhancing their access to healthcare.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to USD 220,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary structure, you will have access to productivity bonuses, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, a 401(k) plan, generous paid time off (PTO), and reimbursement for continuing medical education (CME). Further, mileage for travel within the designated patient care area will be reimbursed while the organization will manage credentialing, mentoring, and continuing education requirements.
