About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a multi-site services platform with a strong growth strategy, including both organic expansion and M&A activities. The CFO will be a key partner to the CEO and PE sponsor, leading the financial aspects of capital allocation, growth planning, and value creation initiatives. This role involves standing up the financial infrastructure, systems, and team necessary to support the business's ambitious growth targets, including modernizing financial systems and controls, and building a robust reporting framework. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the full acquisition lifecycle, from sourcing to integrating new businesses, and must have a proven track record in M&A, as well as experience in managing banking relationships and debt compliance. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of senior finance and accounting leadership experience, with a strong foundation in controllership (CPA preferred). The ideal candidate will be a current CFO or a strong, ready step-up candidate, with a background in a private equity-backed, actively acquisitive environment. Experience in business services, professional services, consumer/home services, or field/route-based services is preferred, as is a demonstrated ability to build and lead finance functions in a fast-scaling, multi-location business. The role requires an entrepreneurial and hands-on approach, with the ability to manage both white-collar and blue-collar stakeholders, and a willingness to be onsite in Houston for a significant portion of the week.
