Quick Facts Location: Baraboo, WI (1700 Tuttle Street) Start Date: 11/22/2026 End Date: 05/23/2027 Shift: 24-hour call and clinic (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) / 24-hour call only (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Hours/week: Approximately 40 hours Employment Type: Contract (26 weeks) Licensure/Certifications: MD/DO with Wisconsin license, Board Certified in Pediatrics, PALS & NRP certifications Experience: Previous pediatric practice experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay: $148.98/hour Benefits: Competitive pay package, weekly direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, robust referral bonus program, paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Provide pediatric care support in a hospital and clinic setting Conduct standard pediatric procedures, including circumcisions Attend deliveries and C-sections during 24-hour call shifts Manage a patient load of 15–20 children per day Collaborate with a dedicated team including clinical staff like MA, LPN, or RN Document patient encounters using Epic EMR system Support the department with around 4–5 workdays per month What You Need Valid Wisconsin medical license MD or DO degree; Board Certified in Pediatrics PALS and NRP certifications required Minimum experience TBD Ability to work a flexible schedule including 24-hour call shifts Strong clinical and communication skills About the Assignment Join a well-established family medicine department supporting pediatric patients at a reputable hospital in Baraboo, WI.
