Legal Billing Manager

Compensation Salary : $115,000 - $125,500 Location Location : Hybrid in Boston, MA Responsibilities Co-lead the firm's billing operations and ensure accurate, timely invoice processing. Manage compliance with client billing requirements and guidelines. Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 14 Billing Specialists. Review billing activity, resolve discrepancies, and ensure operational efficiency. Analyze billing and revenue reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Partner with attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing-related matters. Drive process improvements and best practices across the billing function. Support reporting, forecasting, and financial operations initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. 7+ years of billing experience. Experience with Elite 3E billing software. Prior law firm experience required. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Advanced Excel and reporting skills preferred. Experience managing or mentoring staff is highly preferred.
