The Compass Mental Health Center is seeking qualified and passionate Mental Health Therapists to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time position that allows for remote work, giving you the flexibility to provide essential services from the comfort of your own space. You will play a critical role in supporting individuals dealing with a variety of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex conditions such as bipolar disorder and substance abuse. Your work will have a direct impact on improving patient outcomes through evidence-based treatment strategies and individualized care.

Work Environment\n

The work setting is remote, allowing you the comfort and flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from home. While you will primarily work independently, the team maintains regular communication to ensure integrated care. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

  Facilitate support groups and psychoeducational workshops that address common mental health issues, thereby creating a sense of community and support among participants.

  Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patient care is coordinated and comprehensive.

  Manage crisis situations by offering immediate support and intervention services during mental health emergencies.

  Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse and multifaceted patient population, including adults and adolescents facing anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. This role requires cultural competence and the ability to connect with individuals from various backgrounds, providing inclusive and effective treatment modalities tailored to each patient's lived experiences.

Qualifications\n

  A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

  Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, current evidence-based treatment practices, and the capacity to implement therapeutic approaches effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
