Property Accountant Salary: $85,000–$120,000 (Depending on Experience) Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (On-site) Opportunity Highlights: Partner closely with the Property Controller and gain valuable mentorship from an experienced leader Own key accounting functions with meaningful responsibility and direct impact on portfolio performance Work across a diverse portfolio of retail shopping centers, gaining broad commercial real estate exposure Join a collaborative, team-oriented culture where your ideas and contributions are valued Expand your knowledge of retail lease accounting, CAM reconciliations, and property operations Enjoy a role that blends financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and operational support Be part of a well-established and financially stable real estate organization in South Florida Comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties Analyze retail leases, abstract lease terms, and maintain accurate lease information within accounting systems Complete CAM, real estate tax, and insurance reconciliations while calculating tenant billings Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting Monitor tenant accounts, rent rolls, collections, and account reconciliations Support internal controls, audits, and financial compliance initiatives Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred 1-5+ years of commercial real estate or retail property accounting experience Working knowledge of CAM reconciliations and retail lease structures, including NNN and percentage rent Experience with Yardi, MRI, or RealPage, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Financial Staffing, LLC
