Job Summary EHS Coordinator supports all aspects of the EHS regulatory compliance function for IFMG plants, developing, implementing and administering compliance programs, analyzing regulations, ensuring permits and licenses, and managing audits and workplace sampling. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Design, implement and administer a wide range of EHS compliance and training programs. Conduct accident investigations and assist supervisors with injury response. Compile, analyze and interpret statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents. Coordinate testing of workplace air quality, noise, temperature or radiation to verify compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct EHS audits and inspections of IFMG facilities and support corrective actions. Coordinate participation on federal OSHA compliance inspections. Coordinate participation on environmental agency compliance inspections. Actively participate in IFMG Safety Committee. Maintain AEDs, fire systems/fire extinguishers and eye wash stations. Manage environmental monitoring – groundwater usage and daily surrogate visible air emissions monitoring. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Skills and Attributes Requirements Position requires excellent written and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal and planning abilities. Must be able to interact with employees, vendors, regulatory agencies and legal counsel, use databases and spreadsheets, prioritize multiple projects, and conduct effective employee training. Education and Experience Requirements Minimum education: 2‑year college degree in EHS or related field, or alternatively a high school diploma with at least 4 years of on‑the‑job EHS compliance and regulatory interpretation experience plus continuing educational training. EHS certifications are beneficial but not required. Physical Demands Work involves moderate exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, loud noises, and potential hazardous materials. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Activities include sitting, talking, hearing, seeing, operating keyboard/mouse, walking, standing, climbing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling occasionally.
