Lockwood Overnight Accounting ClerkThe Lockwood Overnight Accounting Clerk will be responsible for accurate and timely entry of financial data, document management, and light administrative duties. This role plays an essential part in maintaining daily accounting operations and supporting a smooth handoff to the day team.Role and ResponsibilitiesData entry for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory transactionsEnsure proper filing, retention, and archiving of purchase, inventory, sales documents, and other filesLight phone duties and customer contact as needed Retrieve, sort, and distribute incoming mailAssist in the preparation and distribution of financial and operational reportsMail out signed checks and file backup documentationMail out customer statementsPerform other administrative and accounting support duties as assignedQualifications and Education RequirementsMinimum of 1 year prior experience in an administrative and/or clerical roleHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMust be able to work independently, resourcefully, and be trustworthy/reliableStrong organizational and time management skillsAble to deliver effective results, meet deadlines, and targetsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookFamiliarity with accounting systems a plusPreferred SkillsMust be able to work required schedule: Monday through Friday/ 2:00am-10:00amBilingual Spanish and English preferredLocation: 800 Food Center Dr # 99, Bronx, NY 104742AM-10AM
