Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a short-term contract position supporting elementary students. Covering a maternity leave, you’ll collaborate with a welcoming team and make a meaningful impact on TK–6th grade students with mild-to-moderate needs, including those on the autism spectrum. This full-time onsite role offers exposure to diverse school communities and provides paid indirect administrative time, ensuring you can focus on both therapy and documentation in a balanced workweek.

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid California SLP license or appropriate credentials for practice in the state
• Completion of background check and fingerprinting (prior to start)
• Demonstrated strengths in communication, organization, and IEP process management
• Previous experience in a school setting and with TK–6th grade students is highly desirable
• Competency in providing therapy for mild-to-moderate and autism-specific student needs
• Candidates with SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or teletherapy experience are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 45 elementary students, both in direct therapy and assessment roles
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, special educators, and school psychologists
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and provide individualized interventions
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings and develop effective treatment plans
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and fulfill paid administrative tasks during allocated indirect time
