Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to identify their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Engage in initial comprehensive patient and family evaluations, triaging care as necessary to ensure timely and appropriate interventions.

• Maintain clear and open communication with fellow staff members regarding assessments, treatment plans, and updates during meetings, including patient rounds.

• Demonstrate proficiency in addressing the holistic needs of patients, encompassing physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety considerations.

• Provide ongoing case management for assigned patients, collaborating with community resources and other professionals to optimize care delivery.

• Complete documentation and reporting on patient care in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with ethical and departmental standards.

• Implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support patients in achieving their individualized goals.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health therapeutic setting is required.

• Candidates should be willing and able to work between 10 to 40 hours per week, including flexible scheduling options based on client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with a variety of therapeutic approaches, especially evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management will be beneficial in maintaining streamlined workflows and enhancing patient care.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
