Field Service Technician

Essential Responsibilities Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines. Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check). Experienced using tools (diagnostic equipment, hand tools, power tools). Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics, and mechanical diagrams. Experienced in troubleshooting and repairs of an engine. Work well as part of a team. Willing to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions. Ability to travel, including overnight travel. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to succeed. Communicate via telephone and email. Qualification Requirements Strong customer service mindset, capable of driving, supporting, empowering, and inspiring service teams and customers. 7+ years of experience in a technical role. Extensive experience with issue resolution in field services on engines, ideally INNIO Jenbacher engines. Technical attitude complemented by strong business acumen and basic IT skills. Willingness to work in a shift model and on‑call. Experience working with electrical or mechanical systems. Fluency in English is required. Good interpersonal skills. Job Specific Knowledge Strong communication skills and experience in customer communications. Boundaryless and multicultural working mindset; team player. Able to work efficiently without direct supervision. Preferred Multi‑year field experience with Jenbacher gas engines, including operation and commissioning across all engine types. Jenbacher training certifications: FTB, FTA, CT1, CT2, MR6. Mechanical RCA research and analysis exposure. Mention of previous field experience is a bonus. #J-18808-Ljbffr INNIO Group
