Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location:

• Chicago, IL (South Side relocation support available)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee pharmacy services in an acute care hospital environment
• Manage a diverse pharmacy team of approximately 20 full-time, part-time, and PRN staff members
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and CMS standards
• Develop and implement clinical and operational protocols to enhance pharmacy services
• Foster a collaborative team culture focused on high-quality patient care and community engagement

Required Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing (mandatory)
• Disclosure and verification of all active and inactive pharmacist licenses
• Minimum of three years as Director of Pharmacy in an acute care inpatient hospital (non-negotiable)
• At least three years of acute care inpatient hospital pharmacy experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• PharmD degree strongly preferred
• Board Certification advantageous
• Completion of a hospital pharmacy residency considered a plus
• Experience managing a multi-level pharmacy team
• Strong background in Joint Commission and CMS compliance
• Experience working within community or safety net hospitals beneficial
