This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping create a workplace where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Be DoingEmployee Relations & HR PartnershipServe as the primary HR resource for employees and leaders regarding policies, procedures, and workplace concernsBuild strong, trusted relationships throughout the organizationProvide guidance and coaching to leaders on employee relations, performance management, and corrective action mattersSupport conflict resolution efforts and workplace investigations as neededHelp foster a positive, productive, and inclusive work environmentCompliance & HR OperationsEnsure compliance with California employment laws and regulationsAdminister leaves of absence and employee accommodationsMaintain accurate employee records and HRIS dataSupport onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processesHelp ensure HR operations run smoothly, efficiently, and compliantlyTalent Acquisition & OnboardingAssist with recruiting activities including candidate screening, interviewing, job fairs, and offer coordinationPartner with hiring managers to attract top talentFacilitate engaging onboarding and orientation programs for new hiresHelp create a positive first impression for every employeeEmployee Engagement & DevelopmentDeliver responsive, professional, and respectful HR supportSupport employee engagement, recognition, and morale-building initiativesAssist with training and development programsHelp cultivate a workplace culture where employees feel connected and appreciatedIn this role, you'll be: A trusted HR partner to employees and leaders Known for delivering exceptional internal customer service Ensuring compliant and effective leave administration Providing practical, business-focused HR solutions Helping maintain an engaged, productive, and compliant workforce Contributing to a positive workplace culture where employees can do their best workQualificationsRequired Qualifications3 to 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experienceStrong working knowledge of: California Labor Code Wage and Hour regulations FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, and leave administration Employee relations best practices Experience supporting leaders and employees in a service-oriented environment Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detailPreferred QualificationsPHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent HR certification (strongly preferred)Experience supporting multi-site employee populationsBilingual language skillsExperience with social media recruiting, posting, and candidate trackingBenefitsOur Compensation & Benefits:· Salary range of: $70K to $85K depending on experience plus bonus· Comprehensive benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, along with 401(k) with company match· Paid Time Off: Vacation, sick leave, and holidays· Professional development opportunities· Fun and dynamic work environment
