If you are looking to make a real impact, to challenge the status quo, and develop and implement solutions with real results, then Wendel is the place for you!We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in promoting the growth of Wendel's Master Builder Services, where our Construction Management team delivers integrated design, procurement, and construction management solutions. This individual will leverage expertise in design and construction to drive strategic growth, build high-value partnerships, and secure complex projects.The ideal candidate brings a strong background in business development experience, a client-focused mindset grounded in transparency and partnership, and a deep knowledge of alternative delivery methods that integrate professional architecture, engineering, and construction management services.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Market Positioning Lead market analysis to identify trends and opportunities across Wendel's Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest regionsPosition Wendel's Construction Management services within evolving public and private sector marketsSupport annual business planning and alignment with company strategyClient Development & Relationship Management Develop and execute strategies to grow existing internal and external clients and secure new opportunitiesBuild long-term, strategic relationships aligned with our Master Builder project delivery approachesMaintain accurate client and opportunity data in Wendel's CRM system (Cosential/Unanet)Proposal Development Collaborate with technical teams to develop compelling proposals and presentationsAlign submissions with client objectives and Wendel's strategic positioningIncorporate Wendel's Master Builder Services and application of innovative Total Project SolutionsPartnership & Brand Development Build relationships with public and private sector stakeholders, including government agencies and industry organizationsIncrease brand visibility through targeted outreach, social media, and industry engagementSupport conference planning, attendance, and representationSales Strategy & Execution Support development and execution of sales strategies to meet revenue targetsLeverage both direct business development and indirect marketing effortsIndustry Engagement Represent Wendel at conferences, trade shows and industry eventsExpand network, strengthen brand presence, and contribute thought leadership to support strategic initiativesReporting & Performance Assessment Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitive insightsProvide actionable recommendations to leadership for strategic decision makingQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's degree a plus)10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within A/E/C or Construction Management sectorsProven success securing large-scale projects and delivering strong client outcomesDeep knowledge of alternative delivery methods, contract structures, and industry trendsDemonstrated ability to influence clients and key stakeholdersStrong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate across teams and manage multiple assignments and prioritiesProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft OfficeWhy Join Us:Opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of Design and Construction Management.Collaborative and innovative work environment.Competitive salary and benefits package.Professional development and growth opportunities.What we offer:Employee-focused company culture and work environment.Work-life balance including: Hybrid work policyFlexible workGreat benefits including: Medical, dental, and vision401k matchPTOLife insuranceHSA and FSA options.Career advancement opportunities with Career and Professional Development.Tuition reimbursement.Parking reimbursement.Wellness programs and health stipend.Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The salary offered will be determined based the successful candidates' relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
