MIG Welder – Aerospace / Space Industry

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to support the fabrication and assembly of high-precision components used in aerospace and space applications. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to strict quality standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and other aerospace-grade materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols
• Fabricate and assemble components to tight tolerances
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet aerospace quality and safety standards
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup for each job
• Follow all safety procedures, including OSHA and company-specific protocols
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience (aerospace or manufacturing preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
• Experience working with thin materials and precision welding
• Strong understanding of welding safety and quality control standards
• Certifications (AWS or similar) preferred
• Ability to pass weld tests and background/drug screening if required

Preferred Skills

• Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing
• Familiarity with TIG welding is a plus
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or 5S practices
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Work Environment

• Manufacturing or production floor environment
• May require standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Use of PPE required at all times

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time; Monday–Friday (overtime as needed)
• Competitive pay based on experience
