Overview Once Upon A Child in Raleigh, NC is looking for an outgoing sales associate to join our 30‑person strong team. We are located on 6411 Triangle Plantation Dr. Our ideal candidate is a self‑starter, ambitious, and hard‑working. Time off requests. $12‑15/hour depending on experience. Responsibilities Welcomes customers by greeting them and offering them assistance. Directs customers by escorting them to, and pointing them at, our products. Advises customers by providing information on products. Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards. Uses judgment to solve customer problems. Maintains scheduling commitments. Promotes FIVEstar rewards program. Tags/Hangs merchandise and takes it to the floor. Works quickly and efficiently. Completes opening/closing checklists. Assists customers with obtaining merchandise. Talks to customers about events we are having. Works on the floor/backroom straightening apparel and stocking. Qualifications Friendly and outgoing personality. Excellent verbal and math skills. Able to problem solve as issues arise. Able to multitask. Works well under pressure/busy times of day. Able to lift 18‑gallon totes. Team player.
