Business Development Specialist – Adolescent Services Location: Wayne, PA Department: Business Development / Adolescent Programs Reports To: VP of Business Development Employment Type: Full-Time About the Opportunity We are seeking a driven and compassionate Business Development Specialist to spearhead outreach and referral development exclusively for our newly launched Adolescent Program in Wayne, PA. This is a ground‑floor opportunity to shape the community presence of a specialized program serving teens and young adults. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship‑builder with deep ties to school systems, healthcare networks, and youth‑serving organizations across the greater Philadelphia region. Key Responsibilities School & Educational Outreach Develop and maintain relationships with school counselors, social workers, and administrators across public, private, and charter schools in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties Conduct lunch‑and‑learns, presentations, and educational events for school staff on adolescent mental health, substance use, and early intervention Establish formal referral agreements with school districts and Student Assistance Programs (SAPs) Attend and exhibit at school district mental health fairs, parent nights, and community events Clinical & Healthcare Referral Development Build referral relationships with pediatricians, adolescent medicine specialists, child/adolescent psychiatrists, therapists, and primary care providers Partner with hospital emergency departments, inpatient psychiatric units, and crisis stabilization centers serving adolescents Engage with community mental health centers, outpatient therapy practices, and FQHCs Community & Youth Organization Partnerships Cultivate relationships with juvenile justice partners including probation officers, family court liaisons, and youth detention facilities Engage with youth‑serving nonprofits, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs, faith‑based youth programs, and community centers Connect with DHS/CYS, foster care agencies, and family service organizations Partner with residential treatment facilities and transitional living programs for adolescents Marketing & Brand Awareness Represent the adolescent program at community events, conferences, and professional association meetings Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted collateral, digital campaigns, and content directed at parents, teens, and referral sources Track and report outreach activity, referral metrics, and census impact using CRM tools Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, social work, psychology, public health, or a related field 2–3 years of experience in business development, community outreach, or marketing within behavioral health, healthcare, or human services Demonstrated knowledge of the adolescent mental health and/or substance use landscape Strong public speaking, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a wide geographic territory Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel throughout the region regularly Preferred Experience working directly with adolescents in a school, clinical, or community‑based setting Existing referral network in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or Philadelphia counties What We Offer Competitive base salary with performance‑based bonus tied to referral and census growth Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Mileage reimbursement and marketing budget to support outreach efforts Mission‑driven team environment dedicated to transforming adolescent lives Opportunity to build something meaningful as a founding team member of a new program #J-18808-Ljbffr
