Admin Support Specialist

Position Title Admin Support Specialist Location & Compensation Position Location : North Carolina, US Hours per week : 40 Salary Range : $15.00 - $21.00 per hour Position Type : Temporary Staff (SHRA), Full‑Time Responsibilities Prepares and maintains facilities inside and outside the theatre before, during, and after each performance. Maintains and enforces COVID safety protocols. Manages and supervises work‑study students and volunteers. Provides customer service to audience members during performances. Assists other departments of PlayMakers as necessary for opening nights and other special events. Identifies and responds to emergencies according to emergency protocols; reports all incidents to the General Manager. Sells single tickets and subscriptions using specialized ticketing software. Provides information to patrons regarding performance time schedules, location of events, and various pricing and seating arrangements. Explains box office policies and responds to routine problems regarding ticket sales. Reconciles daily cash receipts and performs daily deposits with the University Cashier. Prepares box office and front‑of‑house reports as needed. May also include administrative tasks and artist support. Management Preferences Experience working in professional theater. Experience working in an academic environment. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
