Senior Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a talented and driven senior litigation associate to join its growing practice in New York, NY. This role offers exposure to a wide range of litigation matters across industries, providing opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have experience in both state and federal courts and will be adept at developing litigation strategies and managing the litigation process. Duties Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and legal memoranda. Draft and respond to initial pleadings and discovery. Navigate and manage all aspects of discovery disputes. Conduct and manage all fact and expert discovery, including e‑discovery. Take and defend depositions. Manage litigation independently or as part of a team. Delegate to and supervise junior associates efficiently. Requirements Minimum of 6‑8 years of experience in general commercial litigation. Experience managing e‑discovery processes and navigating discovery disputes. Strong analytical abilities and excellent client‑relations skills. Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bar admission is required in the attorney's resident and/or affiliated office. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the attorney's resident and/or affiliated office. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
