Industry Facilities Services Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a strategic and experienced Vice President, Supply Chain to take the lead in developing and executing the supply chain, customer service, demand planning, and forecasting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and talent development, while ensuring the reliability of all systems and processes. This role also involves managing the retail channel strategy and working closely with executive leadership to deliver strategic value and revenue growth. Key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end supply chain strategy with a focus on sustainability, process improvement, and cost and service targets, as well as optimizing transportation and logistics across various modes. The VP will also be tasked with overseeing customer service teams, standardizing SOPs, and aligning Sales & Operations Planning with business objectives. Applicants for the Vice President, Supply Chain position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. A minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in supply chain and logistics within a manufacturing or wholesale environment is required, along with a proven track record in managing end-to-end supply chain operations and retail relationships. The role demands a leader with strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and executive-level communication capabilities, who can drive operational efficiency, optimize resources, and manage large teams. While not mandatory, certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, or Lean/Six Sigma are a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at financial and risk management, with the ability to establish budgets, financial targets, and performance metrics for the supply chain function.
