Position Overview This firm's Corporate Trust Group seeks a 2nd or 3rd year associate to join their team. Ideal candidates will have experience representing corporate trust and loan agency departments of banks and financial institutions in connection with their role as trustee or agent in public and private debt or loan transactions. They will consider candidates with a strong corporate finance background, particularly those with experience in private credit and direct lending. Corporate Trust Group Overview Attorneys within their Corporate Trust Group represent corporate trust and loan agency departments of banks and financial institutions acting as trustees and agents in a variety of domestic and international financing transactions, as well as default administration and complex corporate insolvency matters. As part of their comprehensive counseling services, they advise their clients on their roles as: Trustees, including indenture, owner, successor, and voting trustees Agents, including administrative, collateral, escrow, fiscal, paying, registrar and transfer, investment, and tender agents Document custodians and other custody positions Their Corporate Trust Attorneys regularly represent banks and financial institutions in their role as trustee or administrative agents in domestic and international financings, public and private debt financings, and securitizations ranging from residential and commercial mortgages to royalty payments. Requirements JD from a top law school (2023 to 2024 graduate). Law firm experience representing corporate trust and loan agency departments of banks and financial institutions in connection with their role as trustee or agent in public and private debt or loan transactions. Candidates with a strong corporate finance background, particularly those with experience in private credit and direct lending, will be considered.
