Facilities Manager

Our client, CBRE, a global leader in commercial real estate services and facilities management , is seeking a Facilities Manager - Level 4 to join their team. As a Facilities Manager , you will be part of the Property & Facilities Management department supporting the onsite facilities operations team and client stakeholders . The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and client-facing experience which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Manager

Location: Greensboro, NC

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Manage facility operations and maintenance activities for a multi-use office and laboratory facility.

• Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of five direct reports, including scheduling, performance management, and staff development.

• Coordinate facility repairs, preventive maintenance activities, and vendor/contractor services.

• Maintain client relationships and conduct meetings regarding facility operations, unresolved issues, and performance expectations.

• Monitor compliance, conduct site inspections, audit KPIs and SLAs, and support budget and capital project management.

What's Needed?

• 8-10 years of Facilities Management, Building Operations, or Property Operations experience.

• Experience leading teams, supervising staff, and managing daily facility operations.

• Strong client-facing experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience managing vendors, contractors, budgets, compliance programs, and facility maintenance activities.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint) and CMMS systems.
