Accounting Manager

Our client a rapidly growing company in Fort Lauderdale is seeing an Accounting Supervisor to join growing finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity where the candidate will have direct exposure to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP Lead technical accounting research and document positions on complex transactions relevant to the insurance industry Support external audit coordination, serving as a primary liaisonAssist in the development and maintenance of internal controls Partner with FP&A, Tax, and business units to provide accurate and timely financial data Play an active role in building and improving scalable accounting processes and infrastructure as the company grows Support M&A due diligence and integration activities, with direct exposure to senior leadership throughout Qualifications 3–5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in public accounting at a Big 4 or comparable regional/national firm required Ideal candidate is currently at the Senior Associate level and looking to make their first transition into a high-growth private company environment CPA license or active CPA candidate (completed exam sections a plus) Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP required; exposure to ASC 606 revenue recognition concepts preferred Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience working with accounting and financial reporting systems preferred; ability to learn new systems quickly required #J-18808-Ljbffr Michael Aaron Staffing, LLC
