CNC Machinist

CNC MachinistThe scope of duties expands with experience and capability.Review drawings, specifications, and work instructions prior to machining.Produce quality parts that meet all drawing and documented requirements.Operate one or more CNC machines concurrently, as appropriate.Use calibrated precision measuring instruments and gauges for in-process inspection.Record labor time and quantities produced in Work Orders and ERP systems.Maintain accurate and complete production documentation.Deburr and clean parts using approved techniques.Maintain clean, organized, and FOD-free work areas.Report nonconforming material or questionable conditions.Assist with machine maintenance as required.Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and quality standards.Demonstrate company values and contribute to a positive, respectful, and high-integrity workplace culture.Promote teamwork and positive working relationships.Suggest and support continuous improvement initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned.May require additional hours beyond normal business hours.Travel may be required for training, skill development, or business needs.Qualifications & Experience:Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.Mathematical proficiency for machining calculations.English language proficiency.Strong attention to detail and accountability.Compliance with company, customer, and regulatory safety and quality standards.Flexibility to support business needs outside normal hours.Travel as required for training or business purposes.Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift, with limited sitting time.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
