This is an entry-level opportunity where you'll work in a clean, indoor manufacturing facility assembling wall panels, trusses, floors, stairs, and other structural components while learning valuable trade skills.Whether you have experience in construction, manufacturing, assembly, carpentry, or general labor, we encourage you to apply.What You'll DoAs a Manufacturing Assembler, you'll work with a team to build high-quality structural components in a fast-paced production environment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble wall panels, floor systems, roof trusses, stairs, and other structural components.Read and use tape measurements accurately, including measurements down to 1/8 inch.Operate hand tools, power tools, nail guns, table saws, and other production equipment safely and effectively.Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.Follow all safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship.Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to solve production and assembly challenges.Participate in training, orientation, and ongoing skill development programs.Support production schedules, including overtime as needed.Required QualificationsAbility to read a tape measure accurately and pass a tape measure assessment.Minimum of 3 months of experience using power tools, nail guns, saws, or similar equipment.Experience working with hand and power tools in manufacturing, construction, assembly, or mechanical environments.Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, production-driven environment.Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift.Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.Ability to work overtime, averaging up to 50 hours per week.Must provide or purchase required basic tools, including a tool belt, tape measure, and utility knife.Preferred QualificationsFraming, carpentry, or general construction experience.Blueprint or construction drawing reading experience.Truss manufacturing or wall panel assembly experience.Assembly line, manufacturing, or production experience.Forklift operation experience.Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.Why Join Us?Stable, year-round employment with a growing company.Clear opportunities for advancement through our promote-from-within culture.Learn valuable construction and manufacturing skills.Consistent overtime opportunities available.Competitive medical and dental benefits.401(k) with company match.Paid time off that increases with tenure.Nine paid holidays annually.Safety-focused workplace with structured training and support.Work EnvironmentIndoor, roofed manufacturing facility.Clean, organized, and well-lit production environment.Work in teams of 3-4 employees at designated production stations.Safety-first culture with established procedures and training programs.Shift Options1st ShiftMonday-Friday5:00 AM-3:30 PM or 6:00 AM-4:30 PMApproximately 50 hours per weekVoluntary overtime available on Saturdays2nd ShiftMonday-Thursday4:30 PM-4:30 AMApproximately 48 hours per week, including built-in overtimeVoluntary overtime available on FridaysJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hugo, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
