Position Overview As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the team, ensuring the accuracy of policy updates, facilitating effective communication between stakeholders, and contributing to the growth of the commercial insurance portfolio. Key Responsibilities Policy Management: Accurately input policy updates and account information. Client Communication: Engage with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters to address policy and coverage‑related inquiries. Marketing & Quoting: Lead the marketing and quoting process for new business and account renewals. Renewal Management: Identify, compile, and oversee information regarding account renewals. Effective Communication: Maintain consistent and timely communication with agency clients and carrier representatives. Business Development: Contribute to new business acquisition. Qualifications Licensing: Hold a valid Property & Casualty Insurance license. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an independent agency or retail brokerage. Technical Expertise: Demonstrated strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating. Carrier Interaction: Proven experience working with various carriers and engaging directly with their underwriters. Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems. Software Skills: Proficiency in using insurance software, including Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360. Microsoft Office: Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Existing Book of Business: Possession of an existing book of business is a significant advantage.
