We recently re-established ourselves as an independent company and looking for entrepreneurial minded candidates to help our company grow.Position SummaryWe are seeking an eager-to-learn Sales Engineer to join a dynamic and customer-focused environment. The position will be a key liaison between our technical offerings and customer needs through analyzing and solving customer problems. They will identify new growth and product development opportunities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Position ResponsibilitiesTechnical Expertise Meets Customer Engagement:Collaborate with sales team members to understand customer requirements and propose innovative technical solutions that align with customer needs.Articulate the technical qualities of Sensience products/services to customers, ensuring a clear understanding of their functional capabilities.Support sales in exceeding quarterly goals through solution selling strategic opportunities.Analyze customer challenges and business objectives to design custom solutions.Champion Sensience products and services, acting as a technical expert both internally and externally.Collaborative Partnerships:Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to ensure alignment between customer needs and product roadmaps.Provide customer feedback to drive product enhancements and innovation strategies.Market Insight and Industry Awareness:Work closely with new business leadership to identify new market opportunities and develop customer-valued solutions.Engage in product management workshops in providing key customer application insights, technical requirements, and trends.Position RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, etc.) required.Experience in B2B sales engineering, technical consulting, or related roles preferred.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and engaging manner.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer challenges and propose effective solutions.Ability to read, interpret, and communicate mechanical and electrical drawings.Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools to track interactions, manage leads, and drive sales processes preferred.A passion for technology and a drive to continuously learn and adapt to new trends.Working knowledge of MS Office, or equivalent productivity suitesTravel up to 10% for customer visits and trade shows.Sensience is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE): race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, national origin, or any status protected by applicable law.This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided.
