Accounts Payable Specialist

We are working with a waste collection company in Sun Valley that is in need of an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with general knowledge of finance and accounting principles and has worked in General Ledger. Responsibilities

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
• Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry
• Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation
• Generate purchase orders when necessary
• Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos.
• Issues stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
• Review and assess existing asset inventories to evaluate data quality, accuracy and completeness and provide recommendations for improvement
