Staff Accountant with 3-7 years of experience (required)

Schedule: M-F | 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay Range: $50,000 to $65,0000

Location: Tavares, FL

We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to oversee the daily financial operations of one of our clients. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective cash management, timely processing of payables and receivables, compliance with regulatory requirements, and provides financial support to management for informed business decisions.

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Monitor cash flow, manage bank transactions, and process ACH and wire payments.
• Oversee accounts payable and ensure timely, accurate vendor payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and customer aging reports.
• Support inventory reconciliations, costing analysis, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Prepare and file sales tax returns and maintain business licenses and registrations.
• Analyze financial performance and assist management with reporting and decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Support and optimize accounting systems, including QuickBooks and Fishbowl.

• 3–7 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or controller experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and general accounting principles.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
• Manufacturing, inventory, or distribution experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
