The W Group at Green Hills Home for Adults is looking to hire a Recreation Coordinator with a "Yes I Can" attitude. We're seeking a compassionate, energetic, and highly organized professional to lead our recreation program at one of our assisted living communities.

Full-Time • Days, Evenings, and Weekends

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in recreation management or a related field, with knowledge of a variety of recreational areas: Art, Music, Dance, Trivia, Games, Exercise, Movies, Literature, and Poetry

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage residents and staff

• Ability to design, organize, and oversee diverse recreational activities that meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of all residents

• Excellent communication skills to lead activities in large groups, small groups, and one-on-one settings

• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, residents, and external community partners

• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt programs to meet resident needs

• College degree required; experience in recreation or a related field preferred

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement, and oversee all recreation programs and activities to ensure a vibrant and engaging resident experience

• Supervise recreation staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high-quality programming

• Coordinate services and events with community agencies and resources to enhance the department's offerings

• Regularly evaluate programs and gather resident feedback to continuously improve and adapt activities

• Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and regulations

• Manage the recreation department's budget, scheduling, and resources efficiently

• Perform other duties as needed to support the facility's mission and resident well-being
