1st & 2nd Shift Interlayer Technician

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure safe working environment for self and team members through proper wear and maintenance of required PPE, and adherence to all safety regulations set forth by Cardinal NELG within its safety program
• Ability to recognize potential danger areas which may impede the safety of self and team members, and the proper reporting of such instances
• Ability to work in temperature and environmentally controlled conditions over an extended period
• Ability to work within a clean room environment, and maintain required clean room housekeeping standards of self and surroundings
• Ability to safely operate industrial cutting equipment, as well as handheld cutting tools
• Ability to safely operate industrial crane and/or hoisting systems
• Ability to differentiate and identify various materials, to include damage and/or flaws deemed unusable
• Ability to perform necessary product deductions, perform material audits, and correctly adjust/fix improper inventory adjustments to maintain proper inventory control
• Responsible for maintaining proper daily material deductions to assure proper inventory control
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards of the vinyl room, SGP room, and its corresponding areas

Dress Code/Protective Gear: Long denim pants, steel/composite metatarsal guard leather boots. Safety glasses when in manufacturing environment, arm guards and gloves when handling glass. Other protective equipment used as required.
