Software Engineer, F/T at Truist Bank (Charlotte, NC) Deliver technically complex solutions. Perform system integration support for all project work. Dvlp customized coding, s/ware integration, perform analysis, configure solutions, using tools specific to the project or the area. Must have Bach's deg in Comp Sci, Comp Engg, or rltd tech'l field + 3 yrs of exp in s/ware engg or IT consulting positions performing/utilizing the following: handling/leading data conversions from one processor to another processor; in-depth knowl in info systems & ability to identify, apply, & implmt IT best practices; understanding of key business processes & competitive strategies related to the IT function; planning & managing projects & solving complex problems by applying best practices; providing direction & mentoring less exp'd teammates; working w/ Business & Ops to refine reqmts & dsgn solutions that best fit Banking systems; solid knowl of Android UI components dsgns & dvlpmt (Kotlin, jetpack compose, & build tools); working w/ cross work streams to build applications that are accessible & responsive; working on Feasibility study reports to determine practicality, strength & weaknesses of proposed projects, challenges that could arise in coming phases of projects, & identifying potential solutions resulting from projects; & utilizing exp w/ below technologies to solve complex business reqmts: Kotlin; Android Studio; Emulator; Jetpack Components; Object Oriented Programming; Architecture & Design Patterns (MVC, MVI & MVVM); N/working libraries; Custom, Recycler & Web Views; Firebase Framework; REST APIs; JSON & XML; Java; Postman; SOAPUI; GIT & Gitlab; SpringBoot; & understanding of AWS cloud services. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's deg in Comp Sci, Comp Engg, or rltd tech'l field + 1 yr of exp in s/ware engg or IT consulting positions performing/utilizing the aforementioned. Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of & reports to Truist offices in Charlotte, NC. Must be available to travel to Charlotte, NC regularly for meetings & reviews w/ manager & project teams w/in 24-hrs' notice.
