Description

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and conditions
• Administer therapeutic exercises and interventions to promote strength, flexibility, and mobility
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic processes, goals, and home care
• Collaborate with referring physicians and other members of the care team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and facility guidelines

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certification in specialized areas of physical therapy (e.g., orthopedics, geriatrics) preferred

Skills

• Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized with a focus on patient-centered care
• Comfort with electronic documentation and digital communication tools
