Litigation Paralegal (Employment Defense)
Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our employment defense practice in Irvine, CA. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys being an integral part of the litigation process and helping attorneys efficiently manage an active caseload.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience and be comfortable handling discovery, drafting legal documents, and supporting attorneys throughout every stage of litigation.

Responsibilities
Manage and organize an active employment litigation caseload.
Draft motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
Prepare and respond to written discovery, including document productions and interrogatories.
Coordinate document review and maintain case files.
Assist attorneys with depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
Monitor deadlines and maintain litigation calendars.
Coordinate filings in state and federal courts.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
Provide comprehensive litigation support from case inception through resolution.
Qualifications
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in employment defense.
Strong experience managing discovery and document production.
Experience drafting motions and other litigation documents.
Ability to help manage multiple active litigation matters simultaneously.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Experience with California state court procedures; federal court experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
