Work Environment Operating in a telehealth setting allows our therapists the flexibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering high-quality care. Our remote environment is designed to empower individuals in their practice, with a strong emphasis on professional development, peer support, and wellness initiatives aimed at preventing burnout. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough and culturally-sensitive assessments and interventions for both new and returning clients, ensuring their backgrounds and unique situations are considered during treatment. Utilize evidence-based methodologies to develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, and families. Design crisis management, safety, and wellness plans for clients in distress, collaborating with them to foster resilience and self-management strategies. Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations. Engage in regular supervision sessions and team meetings to discuss client progress, share best practices, and explore new therapeutic techniques. Patient Population / Client Focus Our therapists work with a wide-ranging clientele facing various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and life transitions. We emphasize cultural competency and inclusiveness in our therapeutic approaches, ensuring that each client feels seen, heard, and understood in their unique context. Qualifications A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field is required. Possession of an active LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in Virginia is mandatory. A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing mental health counseling and addressing various client needs is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities are crucial for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members. Preferred Experience Experience using evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness practices. Demonstrated ability to manage complex client cases effectively and to implement comprehensive treatment plans. Prior experience working in a telehealth setting is advantageous, though not required. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually , complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
