Accounting Assistant
Type: Temp-to-Hire Onsite | Compensation: $25/hour We're looking for a detail-oriented, dependable professional with bookkeeping experience and strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.Core Responsibilities:
- Daily input of Kindful receipts (donation platform) into the current ERP system
- Enter checks into Kindful and the current ERP system
- Set up projects in Kindful
- Email education donors who may have forgotten to donate (once or twice annually)
- Update the PEP sheet for donations related to students
- Reconcile bank statements monthly
- Obtain American Express backup and code by team monthly
- Reconcile fundraising activity to the bank monthly
- Update contact information as needed
- Perform remote deposit capture to deposit checks and book them into systems
- Send weekly team reports to team leaders
- Assist the Senior Accountant with additional tasks as needed
